With reference to your letter of the 12th ultimo (83837) enquiring as to certain British firms, I am directed by Secretary Sir John Simon to say, for the information of Mr. Secretary Bonar Law, that he has caused enquiries to be made and the constitution of the firms in question is reported to be as follows;-
1. The Paget Prise Plate Company, Bradford, is registered as a British Company. It is stated by the Manager that everyone connected with the Company are British subjects and in no way connected with any firm
established in enemy country. All the Directors and share-
holders reside in Great Britain with the exception of a
shareholder and Director who resides in Paris.
2. Messrs. George Richardson & Company, Bradford.

born subject who resides at Ilkley.

ble of Glasgow reports that no firm of this name can be
